Lesson Plans and Activities
Our lessons support the New York Culturally Responsive-Sustaining Education Framework. The CS-R Education Framework cultivates a sense of belonging while affirming all students’ cultures, backgrounds, and languages. It also values the shared purpose in developing authentic relationships with families.
In addition, lessons are enhanced by Southern Poverty Law Center’s (SPLC) Learning for Justice Social Justice Standards. These standards work to support identity, diversity, justice, and action.
