Join Johnson Museum of Art educators Maryterese Pasquale-Bowen and Carol Hockett for our continuing professional development series focused on the theme of war and peace. Teachers of all disciplines and grade levels are welcome!
Explore the Second World War through the work of pioneering photographer Margaret Bourke-White. As the first female photographer for LIFE Magazine, Bourke-White captured everything from world leaders to the bombing of European cities and the liberation of concentration camps.
Free registration with credit is through TST BOCES Frontline. For more information or to sign up, email Carol Hockett at cih2@cornell.edu.
A Zoom version of each workshop will be offered from 4–5PM. Teachers and other professionals can choose to attend the same workshop in person at the Museum from 5:15–6:15PM, with the opportunity to see the art in an intimate setting. Free parking at the Museum is available at that time.
