Join Johnson Museum of Art educators Maryterese Pasquale-Bowen and Carol Hockett for a year-long, six-part professional development series devoted to the arts of the Americas.
This second session will focus on the arts of Mexico, from ancient ceramics to the photography of Manuel Álvarez Bravo. Teachers of all disciplines and grade levels are welcome!
Free registration with credit is through TST BOCES Frontline. For more information or to sign up, email Carol Hockett at cih2@cornell.edu.
A Zoom version of each workshop will be offered from 4–5PM. Teachers and other professionals can choose to attend the same workshop in person at the Museum from 5:15–6:15PM, with the opportunity to see the art in an intimate setting. Free parking at the Museum is available at that time.
Save the date! “Part 3: The Arts of South America” will be held December 7.
This workshop was made possible in part by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
