Join Lithuanian artist Agne Kisonaite for an enlightening discussion about her personal experience creating art as a gateway to promote wellness through self-discovery and expression. She will also discuss her artwork and found-object sculptures, providing insight into her creative process.
Following the talk, Kisonaite will lead a collaborative collage art session in the studio, where students will be able to participate in an artistic activity in a guided setting. Refreshments will be provided. Registration on Campus Groups is free, but space is limited.
This workshop is part of the Johnson Museum’s Student Art and Wellness series. Our program provides opportunities for Cornell students to explore artistic self-expression and learn new skills in a friendly environment. We thank the Sophie Fund, a nonprofit charitable corporation established to support mental health initiatives aiding young people in greater Ithaca and Tompkins County, for sharing local mental health support and crisis service information.
