Naples: Course of Empire is a series of seven panoramic paintings by artist Alexis Rockman that examines the long and fraught relationship between human civilization and the natural world. On view through June 7, 2026, the exhibition intersects the science of climate change with the visual language of art.
In conjunction with the exhibition, Rockman was in conversation with Anna Davidson, Senior Research Associate/Lecturer in the Natural Resources and the Environment Section, College of Agriculture and Life Science. A reception followed the talk, free and open to all.
This program is supported in part by the Findlay Lecture Endowment.
