Get inspired by the work of Margarthe Geibel to make your own print of a meaningful interior space during this workshop facilitated by local artist and educator Rose Tirrito. After viewing and discussing Geibel’s prints of the Goethe house in Germany, participants will think about how artists represent spaces important to them and make their own linocut prints on the same theme.
This workshop is part of the Johnson Museum’s Art and Wellness series, made possible by a generous member of the Museum’s Advisory Council. Through art-making, participants can develop mindfulness skills to reduce stress and bolster their mental well-being. This workshop was also made possible in part by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
