Join us for an hour of restful introspection, observation, and visualization facilitated by Genevieve Chiu-Schaepe ’24. Come with curiosity as we use guided meditation and active looking in the Museum galleries to care for our emotional and mental health together.
Bring your own mat if you wish, but a mat is not necessary. This session is appropriate for students with different physical capabilities. Registration on Campus Groups is free, but space is limited.
This workshop is part of the Johnson Museum’s Student Art and Wellness series. Our program provides opportunities for Cornell students to explore artistic self-expression and learn new skills in a friendly environment. We thank the Sophie Fund, a nonprofit charitable corporation established to support mental health initiatives aiding young people in greater Ithaca and Tompkins County, for sharing local mental health support and crisis service information.
