At the Top

Crowning this amazing building is the sixth-floor conference room with a commanding view of Cayuga Lake. The room (45 x 30 feet) is available for receptions, luncheons, presentations, and dinners. Please consult us regarding capacity guidelines.

The Lynch Conference Room is a gift from Susan E. Lynch in memory of Ronald P. Lynch '58.

Open Air

During warmer months, the Mallin Sculpture Court is also available for rental. This elegant terrace (63 x 29 feet) can be used for live musical performances or receptions. Please consult us regarding capacity guidelines.

The sculpture court overlooks Ithaca and Cayuga Lake, crowned by the light installation Cosmos. Use of the sculpture court is weather-dependent.

Larger Events

The glass-walled Appel Lobby is perfect for larger receptions. Please consult us regarding capacity guidelines. The entire Museum can be kept open after hours to allow your guests to browse in the galleries. Food is allowed only in the lobby and on the sixth floor. Private tours of the Museum’s current exhibitions can be arranged for an additional fee.

In the Wing

The 2011 Museum wing includes a flexible lecture room space and a beautiful lobby area overlooking the Morgan Japanese Garden, the Hirsch Lecture Lobby (810 square feet), with glass doors opening to the garden, and the lecture room (1,535 sq. ft.) which can also be rented for a variety of special events and meetings. These spaces are connected to Floor 2L in the main building. Please consult us regarding capacity guidelines.

Tuesdays to Sundays, to facilitate the closing of the Museum to the public at 5:00 p.m., the Museum requests that evening events begin no earlier than 5:30 p.m. The Museum has audio/visual and presentation equipment available for rental.
