Join an artist featured in the special exhibition Here & Now: Artists of Central New York for a brief gallery talk followed by a hands-on art-making workshop inspired by their creative practice.
In this workshop, Kari Varner will introduce the cyanotype photo process and guide participants through preparing and developing their own artwork with UV light exposure. If the sun is not shining on the day of the workshop and prohibits this process, there will be an alternate creative activity.
This workshop is beginner-friendly but limited to participants age 14 and older.
Made possible in part by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
