Join Johnson Museum of Art educators Maryterese Pasquale-Bowen and Carol Hockett for a year-long, six-part professional development series devoted to the arts of the Americas.

Our first session explores the special exhibition Celia Vasquez Yui: The Council of the Mother Spirits of the Animals. Teachers of all disciplines and grade levels are welcome!

A Zoom version of each workshop will be offered from 4–5PM. Teachers and other professionals can choose to attend the same workshop in person at the Museum from 5:15–6:15PM, with the opportunity to see the art in an intimate setting. Free parking at the Museum is available at that time.

Save the dates! “Part 2: The Arts of Mexico” will be held November 2, and “Part 3: The Arts of South America” will  be held December 7.
