This Chimu or Chimu-Inca burnished blackware pot has a strap-handle rounded base, a squat body, and a flaring spout. The vessel is decorated with a band of nested triangles; the lower ones are studded with dots, circling the vessel shoulders and giving the appearance of a medallion-like solar (inti) or floral motif when viewed from above.
