This is a coiled Colima snake effigy vessel with a spout. The snake’s head is raised, with it’s tail tucked just behind and under the head. Incised rattles are clearly defined on the tail, and the snakeskin texture is marked by small punctations, particularly visible on the snake’s face. The overall color is burnished orange, with red slip on the spout.
