Student Docent Program

If you love art, and would like to share your passion with others, consider becoming a student docent. In this program, you will learn how to give guided tours of the Museum to your peers. To successfully complete the program you will be required to give four (4) tours during the academic year and complete a podcast for the Museum’s podcast series, “Johnson ArtBeat.” 

The deadline for participating in training for 2011-12 has passed. Please note that training takes place ONLY in the fall semester, so check back in August 2012 for instructions on applying for 2012-13. Contact Kari O'Mara at 607 254-4657 with any questions about the program.

Student Advisory Committee

The Student Advisory Committee helps the Museum by contributing their ideas about how we can be an even more vital resource for students. Students from any academic department can serve on the committee. Contact Kari O'Mara at 607 254-4657 if you are interested in joining the committee.
