Student Educators: Art & the Museum (SEAM)

This group of students share a passion and appreciation for art, art history, and arts education and use the Johnson Museum as a resource to learn about educational approaches to the collection. SEAM members act as bridges between the campus, community, and the Museum, share their knowledge through tours and outreach, including support of existing Museum education programming and creating new programs.

Training for new members will take place Thursdays, September 22 & 29, October 6 & 13) from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Attendance at all sessions is required.

A refresher course for prior members will take place on Thursday, September 1 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

SEAM meetings will be held on the last Wednesday of the month from 4:30 to 5:00 p.m. in the Museum’s main lobby (August 31, September 28, October 26, and November 30).
