Daisy Wang will discuss the history of photography in Imperial China in conjunction with the exhibition Lai Fong (ca. 1839–1890): Photographer of China. Dr. Wang is deputy director of the Hong Kong Palace Museum, which will open its doors in 2022. She was previously curator of Chinese and East Asian art at the Peabody Essex Museum.
