THREE SESSIONS: Tuesdays, October 6, 13, & 20
6:00–7:30 PM EST

Bill Benson, Class of 1972, is a nationally known portrait and landscape painter. This three-part series will focus on the head and capturing a likeness, each session building on the last. Practice three viewpoints—straight on, three-quarter view, and profile—working from photographs. Participants will focus on perspective, the alignment of features, and the measurements of the facial features which make us all individual. Bill will be working with charcoal but students can use the drawing material they feel most comfortable with or have available.

No previous drawing experience is necessary but the classes are recommended for ages 13 and up.

Free registration is required to attend via Zoom. Enrollment is limited; students registered in the class will receive a confirmation email, model images, and instructor materials ahead of the first class.
