Explore the art and music of India at this free event inspired by our exhibition Traded Treasure: Indian Textiles for Global Markets

Hear more about the exhibition from curator Ellen Avril at a Gallery Talk beginning at 1:15 PM. 

Beginning at 2:00 PM, there will be special performances by Cornell Bhangra, Kuchipudi dancer Sahana Natesan, and Cornell’s Chapter of SPICMACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Among Youth). 

Onging drop-in artmaking activities for all ages will include textile stamping and resist dyeing, plus a weaving demonstration by textile artist Catherine Blumenkamp. Share Indian-inspired refreshments, including mango lassi. Free and fun for all!
